Char's Pokémon Platinum Randomizer Nuzlocke!
So lately I have a lot of free time in my hands (Well, not really =P), so I decided to do a playthrough of a Pokémon game. I was thinking about it, when I had an idea. I decided to give this one a twist
...
Oh well.. you read the title? Yep, that's right! I decided to do a Randomizer Nuzlocke!
this is a screenshot playthrough of Pokémon Platinum Randomizer. I will leave more details below.
IMPORTANT: Please read all the info below, especially the "What has been randomized" part.
Nuzlocke Rules So just like any other nuzlocke, here are the rules-
1. Any Pokémon that faints is considered "dead" and must be boxed permanently.
2. You can catch only the "First" Pokémon encountered in each area and none else.
3. All Pokémon must be nicknamed by 3dspedia members ONLY.
EDIT: It would be impossible for pedians to keep all the nicknames, as I might encounter any Pokémon. I will let you keep the nicknames for my starter.
4. Shiny Clause: Any Pokémon that is shiny can be caught and kept in my team, regardless of whether or not I have caught a Pokémon there earlier. That being said, chaining for shinies will NOT be allowed.
5. It is recommended that the Pokémon are not overlevelled. There is no hard and fast rule, but I should have a level a bit less than what is about to come, especially for gum battles (In trainer battles it is OK.) ____________________________________________________________ What has been Randomized in the game?
1. The wild Pokémon encountered in each area have been randomized. Meaning you can get ANY Pokémon (out of the first 493)
2. The starters have been randomized (as you can see in the poll)
3. Pokémon that trainers would be using has been randomized.
4. Pokémon movesets have been randomized, meaning a Magikarp could have Flamethrower and things like that.
5. EVOLUTIONS have been randomized, meaning a Larvitar might evolve into a Gallade or a Wurmple might evolve into an Arceus! This is one of the most fun aspects of the game, as your main member of the team might evolve and change the entire team!
6. TMs and HMs and items found on the ground have been randomized.
7. In-game trades have been randomized, meaning both given and received Pokémon are randomized.
8. Abilities have been randomized, meaning you could have a Rhyperior with a ton of good physical attacks but it might have slow start. This could be annoying, as Ability capsules don't exist in this game.
__________________________________________________________________________
A few more randomizations:
1. Pokémon will have a 55-60% chance of learning a good attacking move, which can make your team pretty strong. However, that would also make the trainers strong, which would make the battles fun to play.
2. At about level 40-45, you can expect all trainers to have fully evolved Pokémon. At that stage, most of my Pokémon would be fully evolved as well, and I don't wanna fight Wurmples with an Arceus.
3. I have increased the catch rate of Pokémon with extremely low catch rates. This might sound like I am making the game too easy, but it wouldjust be more fun the more number of randomized Pokémon I have.
4. The rival will carry his starter throughout the game.
That's it for now. You have 5 days from now to vote for starters. The nuzlocke will begin shortly after that.
You guys can select the nicknames for the starters and also for the player's and rival's name.
Feel free to make any nicknames for any Pokémon you want (out of the first 493) and also if you have any additional rule, you can suggest that.
Feel free to ask me any questions if you have any, or if something is not clear.
Hope you guys enjoy watching this, and hope I get some good Pokémon. Good luck everyone!

Kinda surprised so many people picked Metapod o:
Another thing about evolutions: A Pokémon would always have scope of evolving until it reaches a fully evolved Pokémon.
For example: A chain could be as long as...
Kirlia> Magikarp> Croagunk> Monferno> Treecko... and it would stop when a Pokémon like Alakazam or dialga comes in.
