Cheap TV for gaming?

Do you know of any good $300 HDTV which are good enough for console gaming?

Depending on the size and quality, it can go upwards of 500 :O

From personal experience of helping my brother pay for a TV and looking for one, this 200 dollar 40 inch TV has been doing wonders for me.
