Has anyone ever had a game cartridge chewed up before? Well, I have. The game that my dog chewed up the top edges to (so bad that you could see the top-left of the microchip!), well, it was my favorite game of all time, (and probably everyone's favorite, and that game is none other than Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS!

It all started during the middle of October (16-19th), I was at home with my family and my 1 year old dog Piper (mix of a weiner and a Chihuahua, a girl), and we were going to go to have dollar sandwiches from McDonald's. So after we got back, we did know that Piper was out of kitchen, in the living room, but what I didn't know was that my Super Smash Bros game was on the table by the couch. So she decided she wanted to chew something, so she got at my game, when we stepped inside the house, I found my games edges chewed up and could even see the chip. I was all mad. Then my mom told me that I could get another one for Christmas. I was okay with that...Until early November, we were at my grandparents spending a weekend. And when we were getting ready to eat dinner Saturday or Sunday night, I sat my 3DS down on a stand so I could eat on the recliner. I don't exactly know what I did there. But what happened was I sat it there, and my grandpa got me a drink because I was a bit thirsty. But then as I reached for my cup, I accidentally knocked it over and it went all over the bottom of my New 3DS (of which I got from early August as a birthday present). I asked him to wipe it off, and it'd be good...That is until, I tried turning it on a few days later, oh no!!! Great. Just great. Well, what am I to do? (Gasp), but wait! I have a spare! Yup, a spare 3DS XL from Christmas last year. Sure it still doesn't work with the Circle Pad broke off, but it still functions without it. So I then forgot all about it then afterwards...Then I had an idea! Maybe my dad could buy it for Christmas for me. I asked him, and he said maybe, when he gets paid. But just yesterday night he told me that he's not going to have enough money to pay for expensive things like that this year. So I was like, oh well, at least I still have my old one.

So that's my story on what happened to my New 3DS XL. Hopefully someday in the future I'll get another one. Just have to be patient.

Moral of the story: Keep pets away from your videogames =p.

But seriously, that's really sad. You lost the ability to play a great game and a nice N3DS. I keep my Old 3DS under great Protection because I know of something happens to it I might not get another one... Same goes for my wii u, I try to keep the Gamepad itself in mint condition because it's probably the only way for me to control the wii u rn.

I never really had my pets completely destroy my stuff, my dog is really lazy, and pretty smart too, so he really doesn't eat those.

On the other hand, I have my puppy, Stupid (that's his name). He tried to eat my SD card. Luckily I got it out of his mouth. Doesn't look damaged, though I was pretty worried. It also had Project M on it, so yeah.

Actually, I chewed two of my games. I chewed Mario Kart 7 because it stopped no matter how many times I blew into the cartridge slot and wiped the cartridge. Months later, I chewed up Pokémon Black because a year ago, every time I opened the game, it told me the saved data was corrupt. Nintendo couldn't help me. Fast forward to a couple of months ago, I finally chewed it out.

I still have the remains. Even the chips.

take it to a game store with the respite and there is a small possibility that they could replace it but if you got it of eBay or gumtree than you might not be able to do that you could take it to cash converters they might accept it i honestly have no idea other wise id you got it off eBay or gumtree game trades might accept it hopefully that helps
