Child of Light, one of the lasted Nintendo Wii U addition, created by Ubisoft is set to be released on the 30th of April:

"To all those wandering lost in the dark,
May you be visited by a spark
Explore hidden territories
Discover Lemuria's secrets with a friend
Because the woods are dark and deep"

The game is set in a colorful world with an eye-catching painted theme, that makes your well known "storybook fairy-tales" in a reality.

"Aurora, a child stolen from her home, who, in her quest to return, must bring back the sun, the moon and the stars held captive by the Queen of the Night."

This game can be downloaded in the digital providers towards these platforms Xbox LIVE for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, the eShop from Nintendo for the Wii U, and PC Digital.
 
To be released on WiiU is a pleasure. I don' own any of the console mentioned, but the graphics itself is awesome. It's just...stunning. Oh wait there's PC.

Yeah, I think much more people would go for the Wii U version more! I read some comments and people say the Wii U version seems more convenient.

UPDATE: Watch in HD, it looks gorgeous.

I love how Ubisoft chose 2D instead of full-3D graphics. It feels nostalgic yet amazing. A wise move.

Mhmm! This game looks really interesting! I hope someone who owns one of these console can sometime share their experience. Oh and this is the website for the game

I'll probably wait for a review(s). Co-op is a big plus, and the Rayman style graphics are sure to shine! I'm glad to see a Ubisoft Wii U game. I hope this (and Watch Dogs) aren't the last.

I had considered buying this. But then I noticed that they released DLCs on the day of release, which in total amounted to a higher price than the core game itself. I do not like such business practices, so I won't be buying it until it's on an obscenely low sale (such as the 90% off I just bought the Trine games for)

I haven't yet. I'm about $4 short in eShop funds. I've only heard good things about it though!

I wouldn't mind hearing some spoilers about the story if anyone's beaten it ...

I'll be getting this on Playstation 4 in a wekk. :3

I've only heard good things about it and Ubi has a history of making games that blow me away. So...yay.

Same, I'm open to any news on any version, this game has been on my news-feed for being so innovative and standing out from the original RPG. @Nanamine Let us know what you think of it when you get it next week!
