Choice Scarf and Specs?

Choice Scarf and choice specs have many advantages and that it boosts attacks by 50% O_0 but only lets you use 1 move which sucks. Usually they can't tell if one is using a choice item. I still don't like the fact that you have to switch out to stop using a move you would have to switch, which could seriously damage a team, depending on it asnd if the super-effective move againest the scarf user would be normal againest the switch in.

I think that these Choice Scarves and Specs are most useful when you give it to a Pokemon that has a very strong move and high stats so that they will be able to produce a -- most likely -- one hit KO which can be particularly useful in many cases but at the same time as you said . It might takes some risks

Choice items might lock you into one move, but that's the consequence of giving a Pokemon like Hydreigon the ability to outspeed the entire UU tier or Tyrantrum the ability to practically 2HKO the entire OU tier, being locked into a move and having to switch out is a small price to play for a potentially game changing advantage.

True but for some reason it just doesn't work out for me and can't get a good shot with it and always lose to switch in with my team it only works with gothitelle and trick but I can't exactly seem to get that either go to my other post please and help

Choice items really help for some Pokemon. If your Pokemon is really powerful, then putting a choice scarf on it would really help because you could sweep through the whole opponents team. If your Pokemon is really fast, putting a choice Specs/Band would really help as it could sweep.

but for most of my pokemon in my team can't afford to be locked into one move and the only ones choice items would benefit is Gothitelle and and Gardevoir but it has Gardevoirite. I have a life orb for my Weavile since it is a good life orb user because it is frail anyways
