I loved Clive! He was so cool not to mention his voice is way cool (Yuri Lowenthal is the best voice actor). When I first saw him I literally thought he was Luke all grown up . His backstory made me sad though.

If I were to say where Clive does stand amomgst my favorite characters in the franchise,he'd be right there at second place.Just barely behind the finger-pointing man under the top-hat himself.
But back to him,I was amazed by how he was brilliantly acting the entire time as he himself was the Luke of ten years from the game's events,and he's pretty clever too.I myself was shocked that I didn't even thought if there was anything of suspicious in his character only until the last minute.
But his backstory and how much affect he had gotten from it...that was really heavy.It left me with a bit of a sense of guilt on the inside.
