Closed CN code not registering?

So my club nintendo account is linked to my 3ds and a couple days ago i got a super mario 3d land code from club nintendo from someone and got in on my 3ds. I checked my CN account a few days after but nothing came up in the to do list or games registered for mario. Does it take a while to register or do CN game codes just not give you playcoins?

You should have a survey to earn Coins but no coins for the game itself. However, it should show up in your games?

Well you can maybe wait a few days longer but I really suggest asking someone on Nintendo Support to help you do it . I had my 3ds linked late but I asked one of them and soon I got the surveys . Well that is my suggestion . OR go to your To Do History to check for it . I had once registered a game and it didn't appear in the To Do list but then I went to the To-Do History and I found it there . Try the 2 options . The second preferably first

If it's linked properly, you should expect a survey within 24-48 hours. If not, I strongly suggest to email Nintendo Support Group since they really respond quickly to all inquiries and issues. Tho even if you just overlooked the survey (closed the tab during or just before answering the form), it will still pop right out in your to do list. I hope your problem will be resolved soon, as there are only few days left for CN coins!
