Nintendo 3DS Legend

My first Pokémon that I bred for competitive was an Eelectross and I can say that it wasn't bad for a first try. I use/recommend this set for any new competitive battlers
Eelectross
Nature: Modest/Timid
Item: Leftovers/Assault Vest
Moveset:

Discharge/Thunderbolt
Flamethrower
Grass Knot
Flash Cannon
EV Spread:
252 Sp Atk
252 Def
4 HP

This is a special attack set that I used for my first attempt at competitive because of the variety of types in its moveset and it proved to be very helpful and was exemplary in my competitive team. In fact its a great addition to almost any team mostly because its main counter is probably a mold breaker Haxorous otherwise this is a great set for him.

The set would be better with Volt Switch, as Eelectross is best used as a slow pivot, also I recommend taking those EVs in Def and moving them to HP to give you better overall bulk.

Well like I said it was a first try : p
But I'll look into it more now and I'm affidavit consisting re breeding it for a physical attacker instead because it gets access to dragon claw. Good move?

I really can't think of any advantages of running a physical set for Eelektross in 6th gen as the special set has better coverage, however a mixed set with Knock Off is viable but since you can only get it through a 5th gen move tutor I'd just use the special set.

Eelektross @ Assault Vest
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt Main STAB
- Giga Drain Increase longitvity
- Flamethrower Coverage againest grass and steel
- Knock Off To beat item-based pokemons
Volt switch is good but if you have neccesary counters, you can switch out safely.
