Don't really have much time to post details right now, but my favorite playable characters from a Mario Party, Blooper and Dry Bones, arn't in the game and no others really interest me all that much. I don't really know anyone to play with locally, and I'm not sure how harsh it is on wi-fi, but I don't have the most stable of connections. Are there any rumors of DLC characters? Or secret unlockable characters besides the known 13?

Sadly I don't think Mario party 10 has wifi. I could be wrong though.

Mario Party 10 does have the online wifi feature but sadly when I researched , its only minigames that you play :/ I don't really suggest getting the game unless you have family members with the game because I guess minigames aren't so full-experience of the game . But if you want the game for the wifi minigames , it shouldn't really be too harsh in my opinion . Here are some other facts that might interest you here :

I'm not sure if there will be extra characters and so forth ( DLC ) but in my opinion they might have :p

@Jacknoir12 wait this says there's 19 characters? is that accurate? that being an odd number seems bit off to me (unless there's a slot taken by a eandom character select) also isn't Whittle from a PSVita game? and there's still no blooper! Dx the roster actually isn't too bad though if it's legit, but it also doesn't have the spikey which i hate so much that was actually in a Mario Party 10 video on the eshop. not sure how much I'm really trusting that page... oh and no DK either, taking another look at it.

*edit* ok yea that page is utter garbage:
"Trivia
  • This is the first Mario Party game in the Mario Party series where Bowser does not appear, but is referenced." also wasn't paying attention at first, but they don't even have the real picture for the cover lmao:

Unless you have family members or friends to play with, don't get the game.

It's only fun with real people around :3 (imo)

well the same can be said for smash and mk8, yet i have those >>

Yeah, but that's fun with online friends and random people.

Mario Party is best when people are near.

but i've had enough fun just playing solo before. honestly it really is just the characters that's keeping me from freally wanting it. =/

Then be Luigi!

They added Spike, the minion who throws the spike balls at you, so that's a thing.

i hate that thing. i feel like he replaced the actually cool minions that were in 8 :( (didn't actually play 9 so yea)

Being able to play as Bowser in some minigames looks really fun. Haven't done much research on the game but I did enjoy mario party 9 more than most people seemed to. As always it's funner if you have people to play it with locally.

Lol, it's fantendo. Almost nothing there is legit. They are all fan games, and something that people wish will become a reality. Your first hint should've been the cover art, as you noticed xD

Mario Party 10 has great graphics... and that's about it.

Oh wait! It has Amiibo too.

10/10 would buy.

don't have any mario franchise amiibo. i have link, pikachu, and kirby because i actually have interest in their franchises. mario games seem a bit stale to me atm.

Then buy the mario Amiibo bundle >.>

I think toad is a good character >.>

Well, the amiibo mode is really nice, you get a exclusive amiibo when you buy the bundle with the amiibo and the game is really beautiful and difficult with a lot of boards, you have one mode that you play with Bowser and I think the characters don't make any difference in the game, just appearence. Mario Party is good to play alone too, but not much better than playing with other person. It has a lot of differences and similarities but it is you who decide to buy or not.

You should get Mario Party 10. Its one pretty fun party game to play, I would play it nearly every day. The game features a standard Party Mode (similar in gameplay to the Party Mode from Mario Party 9), and a new mode called Bowser Party, in which you can (only one player though) control Bowser using the GamePad, and exclusive minigames can be played. Mini Stars return in normal party, as well as vehicles in all modes. The game is also compatible with amiibo.
