AC:NL Cosplay

So I took my mayor villager (Ν¡ςς¡η) and decided to have him cosplay as the female villager (Nami as most of my friends prefer) from Mario Kart 8, and I think I did a fine job on it (would make more sense if I had a female villager identical to my mayor villager) Overall, what do you think of this cosplay I did?

I have been trying to cosplay my Mayor as Lucas, not the character from the Mother Series, but the Pokemon Trainer. I have spent an hour trying to make a custom shirt complete with the Vest, Scarf, and white shirt underneath. I have also found his hat, but it is not the right color. I also found a pair of jeans and his shoes, so I look somewhat like him.
