Hello everyone,

Over the past few years I have tried, and failed at making a Lets Play channel on YouTube.

Recently I have thought to myself I might be better off making a review channel (In the style of BrutalMoose, Peanut Butter Gamer, or JonTron) instead as I can script out and put my thoughts together better than I can doing a live commentary to a game.

However I am not sure where to start, I don't want to copy those already established, yet I need something to base my work off.
I
've taken film classes in college so script writing and video shooting/ recording/editing isn't the problem, its the content itself I am unsure of.

So I thought I'd ask you guys and gals:

What would you like to see in a review channel that's not already been done?

What do you like about current reviewers and what would you like to change?

Thanks for all the input and I apologize if this is the wrong sub-forum for this, I couldn't find a 'general internet" discussion sub-forum,

=D0C

Any input would be appreciated, don't be shy!

I always like to watch top 10 videos, they're not really original, but I still enjoy watching them :) I watch PBG too, and I like his style, since he's funny and it's not only screaming and stuff. I don't think a review should be too long, and it's also nice to divide it in parts, like story, gameplay, graphics, sound etc. IGN makes good reviews, but I think they give high marks too easily, so when they give for example Super Smash Bros. a 9, I don't know if it's actually worth a 9. Dunno if this helped you, but good luck anyway ^_^

Oooh awesome :D what's your channel's name?

I'd love to help support the channel! :3
Stuff like a good introduction with good intro music, some humour along the way, and just something to keep the viewer's attention would be lovely :)
