Creepypastas used to be pretty great in the early 2010s, but the standard has fallen so horribly that they're just a joke. 'A Story to Scare My Son' was pretty good, and 'Abandoned by Disney.' Most better creepypastas recently are about stories within the story (Cow Head, Goat Man, etc.) because it's rarely scary when the beings are described with the protagonist facing them, but hearing a group of friends tell each other that the story is too scary to tell or that if you tell/hear the story, the being will come after you - that has a chilling effect sometimes.

'The Devil's Jaws' is one of my favourites.

There might also be this pasta called '@Moon Rain Actually Talks,' but I found it too scary to read fully.

Creepypasta are essentially internet horror stories, passed around on forums and other sites to disturb and frighten readers. The name "Creepypasta" comes from the word "copypasta", an internet slang term for a block of text that gets copied and pasted over and over again from website to website. Creepypastas are sometimes supplemented with pictures, audio and/or video footage related to the story, typically with gory, distorted, or otherwise shocking content.

Here is my creepypasta
So I was going to a supermarket on a Sunday afternoon. I had to go to the fifth floor to buy some ice-cream. For this I had to use the elevator to go the fifth floor. Let me tell some background information about the building. The basement was a morgue, the ground floor was a clinic, the first, second and third floors were all offices and the fourth floor was the apartments. As I entered the elevator,I heard a voice say 'Stop'. And then an old guy probably in his 60s entered. I asked him which floor did he had to use and he said the fifth floor. I closed the door. I think that we were on fourth floor when the door opened. Surprisingly it was my friend from high school. I greeted him but he motioned me to remain quiet. It was the fifth floor and the old man left. I was about to leave when my friend stopped me.
We went to the first floor. I asked my friend what was wrong. What he said next startled me. He told me that the old man died of lung cancer 2 weeks ago. Iam still in a shock to this day.
