Hey, I build Mario Maker Levels, and I try my best to make them look and feel like "Actual Levels".
Mario Maker kinda upsets me, mainly the fact that you cannot Rate levels, add Tags, and Comment without starring the level! I can go on about Mario Maker flaws, but that's for another thread.

I'm looking for players (And Builders) that is willing to test my levels, say whats wrong with them ,
and of course I'll do the same with their levels.

My levels ID's are here:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Loonieboy World 1 | Pretty simple for the most part. The amount of threat in the over-world is minimal and stays with the basic aspect of the level.

Loonieboy World 2 - Ice Breaker | From a beginner's standpoint, there's almost too much ice to blast through, and the big hammer bro doesn't help either. From a veteran's standpoint, it's just the right amount of challenge. :p

Loonieboy World 3 - Lost Mansion | You executed the ghost level formula perfectly (secret areas, hidden items, ect.). The slow side-scrolling portion left me guessing when and where to jump until I was nearly at the left side of the screen, especially at the giant circle of Boos (they didn't come around too quickly, so I was forced to jump through them). Other than that, pretty decent level.

P.S. I died so many times, I decided to create a ship. xD

Loonieboy World 4 - Airship Raider | Best level from you yet! Definitely felt like an air ship. Some of the burners were clumped up in an odd formation, which is really the only opinionated con I have.

I figured it may be a little challenging for beginners. The Ice makes it even worse, but personally, Ive always loved Ice levels in mario games because of the "OMG the ice is annoying!" element. This is also why Nintendo should let us tag difficulties.

Ive played a lot of the ghost house levels in Super Mario World (My fav 2D mario game), they always felt different from other levels because you cant just rush through it. I wanted to confuse the player by making the Start and the halfway point look the same. The last part with the giant Boo ring is kinda disrespectful. I cant get past it myself without getting hit. I left it there because I want the player to loose Ashley at that point, and if they never got her, they will have to start over.

I approve that ship, now I have things to draw thanks to you.

I wasn't sure about the burner formations since i never really payed much attention to them in past games, so i just figured, "let me have fun and place them anywhere."

If you have levels, let me know, I'll make sure to play them thoroughly.

I have a couple of levels on Marc's thread. Play them as you wish. Be warned, some of my levels are somewhat unfair. :p

Your levels make me cringe. lol
They are fun and very challenging. Im not sure how to even critique them. But let me narrow it down to the two that I spent the most time trying to beat.

Pals:No matter the Circumstance
This level is absolutely the worst (in a good way) Its the most challenging in my opinion. Im a failure at this level.
But I did try..many...many times.

Run 'n' Twirl
This is my fav level. Its fun and easy. (not sure how nobody have beaten it yet.)
The low time limit added even more tension.

Also: I did not finish tall.

Lol. I'm used to making difficult levels for some reason, probably because I used to make Super Mario Flash levels before Super Mario Maker released. And thanks! xD

Yeah... this is why I thought the title of the level was very well suited lol (the fact that Mario would do anything to save Yoshi and all). There are parts in the sub area where you need to crouch-jump, but that can be annoyingly hard to do while on a falling platform (I'm not even used to doing it! xD). I'll just say that the rest of the level after that is easy. :p

Thanks! It's probably my favorite level of mine as well. The original ending I had in mind was jumping then bouncing off a hopping koopa, landing on a Yoshi afterwards - but time would run out before reaching the goal, so I scrapped all of that and put in a star to increase Mario's speed, which turned out to be more enjoyable for me.
