his debut was in the water temple in Ocarina of time. He was a little difficult to beat. Would you like him to make a comeback? why?

I personally liked him and would like to see him back again. Would be nice to battle yourself, once again. xD

Sure, he was a pretty cool character. I hope they implement him more like Dark Pit from Kid Icarus Uprising. Dark Pit's storyline was just fantastic and he played a significant role in the game. On the contrary, Dark Link is just another mini-boss but I think that he should have some back story or something that we can learn about in the upcoming Zelda U.

Actually dark link first appeared in The Adventure of Link before OoT.

But he is the most annoying enemy in the series to fight.

Sure, a comeback would be nice! Maybe in the Zelda U game Nintendo will consider it ;3 The first time I faced him I was so confused on how to beating him! I ended up using the hammer to defeat him ;")

Dark Link would be an amazing character. I never found the battle with him difficult, as I made sure to always have the Biggoron's sword on me before facing him. I could just repeatedly stab him to death.
He would make for a nice Mini-boss in the new Zelda U game. They should improve on his AI mechanics, though.

I have never found trouble with him and he was easy to beat (although I used the hint things and used the Megaton Hammer to beat him). I should've gotten the Biggoron sword to beat him however I didn't know about it at the time of the duels. I really wish you could face him again in Young Link's dreams the same way you can re-face all the bosses besides the last one in OoT3D. He's also faceable in Zelda II: The Adventures of Link in the last dungeon.

I agree, Dark Link should get a backstory, or maybe even a continuation! I can see it now...

Ganondorf, too busy with taking over the world to fully complete Dark Link's spell-summon, didn't put in a condition to terminate him upon his death. Therefore, Dark Link just came back after Link left the Water Temple. Forced to wait for the hero to complete his journey, Dark Link feels the barriers placed upon the room to keep him inside crumble as Ganon does, and is finally able to leave his watery prison.

After he figures out the whole 'swimming' thing.

doesn't he apper in a link between worlds in the streetpass arena?? isn't he?

Just saying, I believe Dark Link will be an alt costume in SSB4.

Maybe a future Zelda-game with Dark Link having a major role in the storyline ^_^ but then they'd probably make another parallel-world-based Zelda, which I think has been done enough :bag:

It'd be cool if you can play as dark link, or switch between the two links ingame sort of prince of Persia style. Imagine, you play as dark link and guards attack you but enemies don't. And at the end you choose whether to side with the dark and kill Zelda for power or stick to the light.
I know I'm reaching here but that would be pretty cool

I personally would be overjoyed if Dark Link made another appearance. He so cool when I first saw him in the Water Temple. (No,I didn't play Adventure of Link yet, lol. ^^" ) He matched most of your sword techniques, and even stood on it when you went for a stab.Talk about skillz! :D I know most people were annoyed by it,but I think making a comeback would be awesome. And yeah, give him a story, that'll make it more suspenseful and interesting. :p

I would like to see Dark Link return in upcoming Zelda games. It is cool to fight your own self, a person who knows everything about you, and even your own techniques. I didn't find it too hard to beat, except that he can counter you in Ocarina of Time if you Z Target him. Luckily, you can just crouch and stab him in the feet.

I was quite surprised to see myself fighting Dark Link in the Water Temple in Ocarina of Time. He's sure an annoying sort of mini-boss >.< I hated when I just try to hit him with my sword but he keeps doing the same and practically dodging other projectiles, arrows, hookshot, etc.

It'd be cool for Dark Link to have a backstory in a new Zelda game since it's still pretty puzzling.
