I was wondering if anyone here has played this game, and wanted to know if it is worth a buy on the Wii U?

This is the first time I've heard about this game, and for those who don't know, this is the summary of it:

Summary: In Deus Ex: Human Revolution you play Adam Jensen, a security specialist, handpicked to oversee the defense of one of America's most experimental biotechnology firms. But when a black ops team breaks in and kills the scientists you were hired to protect, everything you thought you knew about your job changes. At a time when scientific advancements are routinely turning athletes, soldiers and spies into super-enhanced beings, someone is working very hard to ensure mankind's evolution follows a particular path. You need to discover why - because the decisions you take and the choices you make will be the only things that can determine mankind's future.

Not really sure to what again, I should say, since I never heard about the game, but it got 8.8 on Metacritic which is really good.

And reviewers like NintendoWorldReport gave it a 100 base rating. This is the link to the site to check it out, the game looks really good to be honest.

I would not believe any review that gives anything a score of 100/100. That would mean it's perfect, cannot be done better, etc. I haven't played the Wii U version, but I did play it on PS3 shortly after its release as I had been looking forward to it for years. I loved both the original Deus Ex, and Invisible War (which was widely disliked).

Anyway, it was a good game for sure. Just not perfect. Some of the stealth sections were insanely tedious, and if I recall correctly you could (and still can) break the game if you purchase specific augments and use them in conjunction with one another.

Since it's quite a cheap game now, it's worth checking out if you're into first-person RPGs. But, think of it like Fallout 3. If you play it like a first-person shooter, you're going to have a bad time.

Huh sounds quite interesting. Think I might buy it if it is not TOO expensive. Like some Call of Duty games sell for in Europe (about 90CHF/EUR/WHATEVER) I am saving up for MK8 now so probably after.
