Devil May Cry coming to the Switch

In a tweet posted by the official DMC account, they announced that the original DMC game is going to be coming to the switch this summer.

This is a pretty odd thing to just randomly announce without any fanfare. And a random thing to remake as well without much fanfare.

I already own it for my PS2 so I aint gonna get it on switch, but this is somewhat neat I guess. Anyone wanting to pick it up? Anyone else think this might then lead for other DMC games to be remade onto the switch?

Am I going to get it? No probably not. Longer story based games like DMC typically take me a while to play and there are other RPGs I want to play first now that I'm about to finally finish XC2.

I mean if I finish FF7 and Persona 5 (assuming it comes to the switch) quick enough then maybe.... but I highly doubt I it.

Another game I will probably have to give a try to on the switch. I've never played a DMC game but it's highly praised so I feel like eventually I should try it.

Honestly, I would be willing to get it if the price is not something ridiculous. I enjoyed it back in the day so I definitely would like to play it again and the Switch sounds like an excellent place.

If they didn't so that much fanfare, maybe they are testing the waters and might be willing to give us a bigger surprise later, like something new with the franchise, who knows?

Maybe Dante is coming to Smash...
