Spin Off Did the Pokemon you use in Super Mystery Dungeon come from the Questionnaire or are of your choice?

So as many of you know, Super Mystery Dungeon requires you to take a survey to find out which pokemon you are and what pokemon your partner will be. However if you were unsatisfied with the results you don't have to bother with soft resetting for different questions, as you get an option to choose afterwards.

So thats where my question comes in. Is your human and partner pokemon the ones chosen by the questionnaire or by your choice?

Mine were from the questionnaire. I got a fennekin for the human character and chespin for a partner. I did look through the roster just to see what other ones I could've had but then realized the ones I chose were fair enough since we both made a great duo.
 
I got a Turtwig for the human character. I switched the Turtwig for a Pikachu, because why not? (and Pikachu looks really cute in that scarf!!) I got a Piplup for the partner, but I switched them out for a Snivy.
 
I actually lucked out and got the Pokemon I wanted (Charmander for human & Riolu for partner) out of the questionnaire.
 
I got Riolu for my first time, and Froakie as my partner in the questionnaire. But I switched Riolu as my partner and had Fennekin be my main character.
 
I decided ahead of time what my team would be & didn't change anything according to the survey; I decided on Snivy & Fennekin, but the quiz gave me Treecko & Squirtle. I always misspell Treecko's name by not adding the 'c' & squirtle makes me really uncomfortable so, haha, that wouldn't have worked that well. At least I was still a grass type though!
 
Mine from questionnarie because its better and idk i just let the game choose but it was a good choice i got Riolu and my partner was fennekin so im really OK with that and i really like riolu so i always like doing the question thingy because its a charming part of Mystery dungeon series
 
As for me, my decision has been set after quite a long thought. So I picked Oshawott as my main character and Chespin as my partner. I chose Oshawott because I know how well this cute little otter does in my gameplay of Gates To Infinity (not to mention that Oshy is my partner there), and as for Chespin, I chose it because I felt it fits the role after watching some glimpse of the story in the Treehouse stream.
 
I did the questionnaire but wasn't really happy with what I came up with, so ended up picking my own choice, for both myself and my partner.
 
I got the game this Sunday, and I did the survey, and I got Cyndaquil like 10 times after soft-resetting... I didn't even realize you could pick your Pokemon by selected "no" when you are asked "Is this your Pokemon?". My team ended up Snivy as the human character and Riolu as my partner. :)

I got who I wanted as myself, Riolu, on my first try, so I was pretty happy. I got Chespin for my partner, however, and I didn't like him so I changed it to Charmander. I love my team a lot. ^^

I got it for Christmas and I took the quiz last night, I'm Fennekin and my partner is Totodile. I love the game so much!
