So I picked up xenoblade for the wii a while back because I found it randomly at my GameStop . Of course I was really excited to play it and I have been playing it for a while. And to me it feels uncomfortable. I have not tried using the classic controller yet as of I do not own one but with the wii mote, it's not bad but atleast to me it feels, somewhat jumbled in my opinion , to be honest ( I know Im gonna get hate for this) but I feel like I would prefer the new 3ds version better. Is this just me?

Actually no, it's not just you bud.
I played it when it was new on wii and I couldnt get used to the controls no matter what it was I tried to play with.

No hate here.. I totally agree. :D

Ok, I won't enable nuclear mode for this post, since you, at least tried the more polished Wii version. But, honestly, I wonder what you did use. When I played the game, the Wiimote + Nunchuk combo made the game easy to play, and I had no problem, where the N3DS version looks more a pain to control since you have to look away from what's going on to see Shulk and the other character's HP. Plus, I don't really know how the camera controls are going on the N3DS, but again, on the Wii (using the Nunchuk), the camera was easy to get used to, since you would use the Z + Stick combo to control it.

So, honestly, I don't really get it. The Wii version is easy to get used to, even with an (almost) semi-functional Nunchuk !
(Note: I didn't flame you since you have done the effort of playing XC the way it was meant to be played. On a 480/720p console with lesser aliased graphics and coded by Monolith Soft entirely.)

The whole health thing has never been an issue for me, it's literally a second or two then my eyes are back on the battle; it's more convenient than it looks, but I'd be lying if I said it was better than having health on the same screen because by the off chance you forgot the buffs / debuffs on your characters and needed to know them, you'd have to watch for an extended period of time depending on how many there are, however this hasn't been an issue for me either.

And despite how awkward the C-Stick is in SSB4, it's actually really easy to use in Xenoblade Chronicles 3D; the camera controls with it are extremely fluid and easy to understand and I have no difficulty manipulating it how I wish, it feels like the Wii version in that regard.
