Did you ever lose to your rival?

In Pokemon Gold I lost to him twice, once in the beginning and once in the middle of the game/journey. I haven't lost in any of the other Pokemon games I played though.

It's safe to say I have never lost to a rival. Guess I was more than prepared to take them on. xD

only when we first battled after getting our pokemon. after that I usually own him in every meeting after that

My rival had a Vaporeon in Yellow, which apparently meant I lost to him repeatedly (though I don't remember it). I always assumed it was because I evolved my Eevee into Flareon.

Yes I have lost quite a bit of times when I was learning the game. Now it is easy to beat.

Oh hack yes. I've lost to all of the rivals at some point or another. Especially when I was younger, back when I borderline sucked at the games.

Of course. When I was young and careless. Can't say I lost to my rival in recent memory though.

I believe I lost once in Diamond because I was not expecting my rival at all. I think I just beat a Gym Leader and I went off on the route without healing my Pokemon and my rival challenged me. Other than that though, I don't think I've lost to any of the rivals from the recent games.

I dont think that I lose to any of rival for the first gen up until now.. They may be powerful but not as powerful like those elite four and the hardest is champion .. Like steven ..I now had realized that in this many generation that I had played we had battles with many various type of rival ,trainers and champion for sure ..how these ganes has evolve so drastically by time.. :O
