Oh how much I hate this movie so much! It didn't do any of the characters justice.

I don't get how they messed up this beloved series that's why I fear Zelda, Pokémon, and any other videogame music, and sadly movie companies managed to mess up Halo

This movie was so uniquely 90s. I love it in that "this is awful but gosh what a fantastic disaster" way. I think movie adaptations these days would be better (not good, but better) because the culture in America has changed. I don't think anybody today would want to turn Italian plumbers fighting turtles into something as gritty and grimy as the SMB movie. It was very much a thing that could exist only in the early 90s.

Well,I do plan on starting reviewing movies on my own at some point,and until the movie Pixels gets released at DVD and Blu-Ray,I plan on doing so on videogame cinematic adaptations on franchises I myself enjoy,with this little "gem" in the ride.Just by looking at it,I better get myself some preparation for this stupidity fest,because it ain't gonna be something I guess I'll survive through a lot,especially with what they made with the Mario characters here.Especially something as simple as freaking Goombas.

I have not seen the mario bros movie but I really want to. A lot of people have said that it is horrible. People also say that any movie based off of a game is bad. Every single movie like that has got bad reviews. I just hope the upcoming new mario film that sony is making will be much better than the mario bros movie.

I was not born when that movie was made, but I heard that the movie was very bad. The whole movie, as people say, shouldn't have been a real life movie. If it was animated, it could have sold a couple more tickets than what it did. I have seen images, and I still wonder why Yoshi is a Raptor and why Bowser has those weird bumps on his head. Did they ever play the game?

and why de heck is there a portasl to another world. And why is this gooey thing a dad of someone??? If someone who never played any mario game and watched this movie he/she would have no clue how the actuall game would be xD

Ugh, it was terrible. Its the worst movie I ever watched. Mario and Luigi looked really weird and bowser was this really odd human like person. The goombas had cone shaped heads and did not look like a goomba at all. Worst of all, it made Mario look like a fool and got some people the wrong idea of Mario.

Yeah, I've seen the movie. Caught it on Discovery Channel while browsing what was on. Well actually, I wasn't really paying attention as I was busy playing games and watching YouTube. I get that they messed up a lot of stuff from the original source material but honestly, I don't really have that much taste. I could say I liked it to some degree because that it's Mario and that it at least took what was from the game.

I hated this movie. I thought it was boring and the character designs were just terrible like seriously why is goomba's head the size of a dinosaurs brain like come on how do mess up like that. Japan did a way better job of making a movie for super Mario than the U.S because it was animated and they were awesome.

I'm gonna be completely honest, and I'm sorry to anyone I offend who actually LIKES this piece of crap, but I think the producers were on drugs when they made this. I mean, they couldn't make the characters look more like they do in the video games!? To top it off, the goombas look like some of the most terrible deformed gremlins I've ever seen, they have a deformed dinosaur as yoshi that isn't even CLOSE to green, like the regular yoshi, and daisy looks like Lara Croft. In short: THE WORST MOVIE EVER!!!!!

It's NOT the worst movie ever! Double Dragon is the worst movie of all time! But it still has the best movie trailer ever! Those guys were geniuses!

Also, the above is how low Carmina Burana has fallen, it can't go any lower than this!
