Did you ever see the Mario bros movie?

This movie was so uniquely 90s. I love it in that "this is awful but gosh what a fantastic disaster" way. I think movie adaptations these days would be better (not good, but better) because the culture in America has changed. I don't think anybody today would want to turn Italian plumbers fighting turtles into something as gritty and grimy as the SMB movie. It was very much a thing that could exist only in the early 90s.

"Fantastic Disaster" it does look like that. I had no idea there even was a movie! It looks terrible and amazing and I kind of want to watch it. I'm guessing the horrible character design was because they wanted to them all look more realistic. ...As if there is any way to make talking mushrooms realistic without buying from a guy who starts of his sentences with "Psss, hey kid, wannaa buy some *whatever*". But at least they tried? I wonder how it would look if they tried to make it into a movie now. It might actually be worse.

As I have sad before, some things are best left forgotten, but if you think you can stand the third worse movie of all time, then you might as well give it a try! Believe it or not, my sister liked this movie enough to watch it 4 times!:wacky: I only watched it once and as soon as it finished I wanted to just run headfirst into the wall to cause myself amnesia, because of how terrible the movie was!(I didn't do it though, I was too bored to get up plus Pokemon was on!) Watch it, but listen to my warning, if by the 20th minute you think this movie sucks, stop watching, it will get FAR worse!

I saw the movie on my birthday thinking it was going to be like the super Mario bros 3 super show which I love... I was sorely mistakened and hated Mario fir a month

I remember watching this... It was so bad, it was good. I hate every actor who played in this movie, I hate how they screwed up the design of our memorable characters, Yoshi, Goomba, Bowser... But I laughed. Not because it was funny. I laughed because it was such a terrible movie, it literally got reposted on YouTube with zero edits or Weegees and it was still classified as a YTP. All in all, watch it if you want to puke.

Yup I saw Super Mario Bros Movie and it was awesome. It tells the story of the eponymous Mario brothers, as they find a parallel universe, ruled by the ruthless dictator King Koopa, who seeks to merge the two dimensions together so that he can rule both worlds, leaving it up to Mario and Luigi to join forces with Princess Daisy, the daughter of the world's displaced King, to stop Koopa.

The Irony of this is, I actually own this Movie! I never thought it would be that bad...at least not at first anyway

This movie is a DISASTER. It's funny how Nintendo messed up so badly! Yoshi is a weird Dinosaur, Mario and Luigi are... regular guys, but the funniest are Bower and Goomba. Bowser is... A MAN. A man!! It needs to be a creepy giant guy that shoots fireballs and jumps really high, but it's... a man. AND WHAT THE HECK IS THAT GOOMBA?! IT'S THE WEIRDEST THING IN THE WORLD!!

I've seen part of the movie, but I think it was closer to the end. It was weird, and didn't make too much sense to me. >.<
The characters didn't look like what they were based off of, and I don't know where the plot of was going.
I think I saw Bowser get turned into a pile of goo if I'm not mistaken, that's pretty freaky. >.<
Maybe one day I'll watch the whole thing, but I might not be able to stand it all :p

I never saw it in theaters, but I think a good majority of people have at least tried to watch it on YouTube. And I mean TRIED. This movie is a tough watch for sure. The characters look nothing like their counterparts in the game. This is likely because the director had no idea what the source material for the movie even was. (Look it up!)
