How many people here got Mario Kart 8 when it came out yesterday? Did you pre-order it or did you show up at the store and buy a copy?

My wonderful hubby bought Mario Kart 8 for me on opening day. He said they only had 4 copies there in the store when he was in there so he made sure he got one copy for me before anyone else snagged them all up. He said, you had to take the empty box to the register to get the actual game. I wonder if they were afraid of someone stealing it?

I got mine at Wal-Mart, and they had their Mario kart 8 games in the back.

I pre-ordered mine. It shipped to arrive Friday, but I ended up getting it Saturday (FedEx!) I got it with the Mario Wiimote wheel. Playing it solo and with my wife, before I tackle online tournaments.

I have not gotten it yet, but I will soon. Financial issues is the cause, otherwise I probably would have it by now.

Yea I got mine on launch day.

So far it seems good and the graphics are amazing.

I hate the coin item though!!!! Keep getting them while i'm online... so frustrating lol!!
