Did you (North Americans) get the Hoopa from the McDonalds event?

You may already know, but there's a Hoopa event at participating McDonalds in North America available for X/Y and ORAS. I'm not sure this is including Canada, but apparently there's an SSID trick (change your network's name to "McDonalds Free WiFi") to get that Hoopa without going to McDonalds with a North American DS. I've already got 3 Hoopas from McDonalds, 2 of them being from Mystery gift (on two different games, X and OR) and one of them from a friend who traded it to me. I didn't even know about this event until yesterday, but it's been running since the end of November and will be running until the 23rd of December.

If you have McDonalds near you, just connect to their WiFi with your 3DS or 2DS and receive a Mystery Gift from the internet.

Yup, I got it. He's a pretty good Pokemon too. I also got a few streetpass tags going there, glad I went. Kudos to Mcdonalds.

There's one a couple of minutes away from where I live. But I usually don't go anywhere unless there's a real reason to. Like picking up body wash, food and stuff. But this isn't until the 23rd so I got some time.

I missed the event and i was wonder trading and i got a Hoopa! i was sooo happy.

I missed it :(, I tried to go with my parents to get it but they didn't like the idea of going to McDonald's for a Pokémon...not to mention I never knew when they were going to McDonald's so I missed it either way.

Dude I got Hoopa they day they started giving them away lol, but he just sits in my pc box because I don't really use him lol

I entirely missed the event because the closest McDonald's to me (the one I could walk to) wasn't participating in the event. I sat at that McDonald's for a half hour trying to connect to Nintendo Zone and walked home empty-handed...

That being said, I'd be willing to negotiate someone's Hoppa off their hands lmao

If you have an arceus, you can have mine for it. Hoopa's not really that impressive to me. It just feels like they gave an alakazam some steroids and it bevame hoopa.
