Disney 2.0 discussion

WHAT THE HECK!!!!
Ok maybe I exaggerated that a bit more than I should've. But 2.0 has me mad.

Anyway, here we go.
So I went to FYE over the weekend after picking up some MTG cards and I was looking around and found Disney Infinity 2.0.
I went over to the Spider-man play set (cause it had a Nova figure, I mean is there anyone at this point who doesn't know my name is based off this guy?)

Anyway, I went to loom at the price on the back and I see this written:

Playset Not compatible with Disney Infinity 1.0

WHAT THE HECK

Okay, now in order to play this I have to buy another Disney Infinity Game for another $80!
I mean, 1.0 had nothing really, there were only a few playsets but it was fun.
But this might guarente more games,

HOWEVER--!

On the plus side, this game looks amazing. The figures look great, the game looks improved and it has Marvel figures (hehe, I'm a huge Marvel Comic fan)

But here's how the 2 games will be compatiable:

So this isn't disappointing if you don't play the playset mode, however I do so I'm not to fond of this being a completely seperate game.

I cant see myself getting into Disney infinity. It just seems like one big COLLECT THEM ALL OR DONT PLAY OUR GAME type of things, similar to TF2 or Skylanders. It just seems like a building game where you have to buy every individual block. But I might show some interest if Disney were to put Star Wars characters.

Its not buy them to play really, although I can see where that view is coming from
