Disney Magical World is coming to North America in April. It's not one of the games that I'll get because I'm honestly not much of a Disney fan.

From the trailer, some of the gameplay reminded me of Animal Crossing: New Leaf,

What do you guys think about the game from what you've seen?

It actually looks nice, but I wouldn't play it. I'm not really a disney fan (of course this game is for kids) but I'll probably stick to my Animal Crossing...

I rather get Animal Crossing, than this game, to me, it looks like a Disney version to it, and it seems to be for the younger audiences. I won't get it, but I would like to see what reviewers have to say about it.

I'll pass. It's definitely aimed at kids, and I don't like Disney. At all. So there's that.

Maybe if it's ever of the eShop for $9.99 I'll buy it.

Trailer looks solid ...

Btw, can one of you youngsters tell me who G Hannelius is?

 G Hannelius is from Disney Channel's "Dog with a Blog" and to be honest, Jessie and Dog with a Blog is the only funny shows that are currently airing, so yeah. I think Nintendo made a good choice. This game looks good, but like it's fit for younger kids who'd like to experience the more fun less troublesome life than Animal Crossing, I'd put it on my bucket list, but since I have Animal Crossing: New Leaf already, I think I'll pass, those games require way to much time on mines.

Yeah, the Animal Crossing influence seems pretty clear.

@Marc did you move my post to combine it? I apologize if I posted a duplicate thread - I normally watch out for that.

North America's commercial, I think they did a pretty good job. Will let you all know if it's advertising on Disney Channel often.

lol yeah it looks nice but id rather be training for the competition @Marc's setting up - it looks more targeted at children.

a fun game for the kids. Not really a fan myself, but the game looks great! =3

I believe it sold quite well here in North America especially bundled with the Limited Edition 3DS.. Still, games like this Tomodachi Life, are not my kind of games, Animal Crossing takes the cake (IMO).

I believe this will be the 3DS version of the atrocious My Sims game for the Wii. Ugh, *shivers in disgust*. Nothing more to say...

I have to disagree, I would say Tomadachi Life fills that My Sims feeling, more than this.

I only played My Sims until I had to marry someone. I was being a troll and married the as#!%@e goddess, which told me I was sexy.... I sold the CD instantly after that

Lol, yeah, I dislike all of the Sims games, I don't think it's fair to compare that horrible game to Disney Magical World, and Animal Crossing, haven't seen much of Tomadachi Life, so I can't tell.

I was really interested for this ( i sold my Animal Crossing), it does have some similarities to the Animal Crossing: New Leaf but when i saw the walkthrough in the youtube i had a big disappointment, the music in the game is always the same in the Overworld, the music its good to listen in the first time, but it just gets annoying if you play to much, and you cant just enjoy the game when you are walking because a lot of disney characters appear for you to do useless quests, just no.

Oh wow, that sounds horrible, yeah, I read that the're a lot of useless quests, so I'm 100% positive now that this game is for children (which I had no doubts), Animal Crossing: New Leaf, seems so much better than this, heck, Tomadachi Life, is better than this, but nonetheless, I want this game to sell good!

I'm more of a DreamWorks person than a Disney person.
