I have seen MANY anime with characters who are given or in the position of being a god but,
they are usually really messed up or actually evil! Alternately there are some who have learned
from experiences or or actually are good people who deserve the power: Which character do
you think would actually be a good god? Which one deserves the position?
(Can include ANYONE in: a high position, OP characters or characters who actually become a god!)
 
It'd be funny if Edward Elric became god b/c he made quite a point that he was atheist.

Honestly, I don't really think any one deserves to be god or maybe i can't think of someone off the top of my head. I don't think anyone deserves absolute power even if they aren't willing to abuse it.

Though I really don't think Haruhi deserves it -. -

Yeah, but she's not aware of it, so it's no good to her. Haruhi's whole thing is actually pretty sad - everything she wants is all around her, but she doesn't know it's there.

That's completely true. Now that I think about it, I have to start reading it. I heard it gets pretty good.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It's one of the best-known light-novel/anime series.
 
I was kinda expecting that... but since I never saw it to the end
that was really surprising!
 
Shinji Ikari BRIEFLY became a god during the End of Evangelion when Rei fused with Adam and Lilith. He could've decided to go with instrumentality or leave the world as it was.

Also, at the end of Madoka Magica, Madoka wished to become a god and to rewrite the law of cycles, but lost her physical form and only existed as a concept.

I read about a little of that, that was so sad... and for Shinji, I only saw one movie based on Evangelion:
what happened at the end? Instrumentality or did he actually (basically from what I saw) end the world!? :eek:
