Do 3DS eShop game download codes expire? Can't remember

Idk, I used a Mario vs Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars 3DS code (the one that comes with the Wii U version) years after getting it so probably not

Doesn't seem like it, no.
eShop Credit cards won't expire either, but I'm pretty sure you might not be able to use the Nintendo Points cards anymore since the DSi Shop and Wii Shop Channel are dead. I'm not entirely sure though.

According to Nintendo, most don't, only DLC and promotional codes. eShop codes don't expire either.

I know for a fact that promotional codes expire, because I mailed Nintendo one time, and with their response, they gave me a commemorative picture, but also they gave a Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire Demo code (Unfortunately it came right around the time the demo released, but it was still super cool)

Download codes I don't think expire, and E-shop codes are the same as cash, they don't expire.

Did you have a code at time of making this? Try it now and see haha. I think dlc and promos expire but not download codes. Of course eventually Nintendo will shut down their servers and they will be expired by proxy, but that probably won't for a few years.
