do you collect pokemon cards and do you think they are cool? I started collecting 1 year ago and I still have my cards but i didnt collect alot only 205 . I collected them because i thought i coulve gotten some expensive ones from some sets and i did! i EVEN GOT A CARD THAT WAS WORTH 50 DOLLARS!!! i forgot the name. But do you collect pokemon cards???

I once did but I'm not really showing interest currently. The end result was having a drawer full of them :p I didn't really know how to play the game and I thought it was pretty confusing xD I really liked the illustrations of the Pokemons and I would sometimes try to draw from the card. I still look back in that drawer sometimes :p

I collect the cards but unfortunately there is not a single place in my town that sells them. When I was one year on a college in a different city I saw a shop where they had only two decks, and that same shop exists in my city too, but guess what? They don't sell them in my city, only in cities where I don't live and I don't visit -.- And while I was on college in a different city, I bought both of those decks and those cards are the only ones I have from my collection ;-; Those two decks are Black & White: Next Destinies Explosive Edge and Voltage Vortex :D

I collect Pokemon cards and I really enjoy getting them. I have about 500 Pokemon cards and a lot of them are really exclusive and good cards. None of them in my collection are fake and I value each and everyone. If someone or one of you guys don't want your Pokemon cards I would feel free to get them and I would take care of them. Just send them to the end of the rainbow and that's it. Lol

I do collect! I started from when I was 4, but I got alot of fake cards. My brothers also collected, but them and me have not that good luck. I got a Arceus lv. X, Flying Pikachu (not promo) and more, and my brother, that started the collection, didn't really get good cards, he do have a mint conditiond Promo Unown, but nothing more than few promos and rares.

I used to collect Pokemon cards. I first got them from my cousins collection. I remember one of my first cards being a Gen 1 Abra with the move Psyshock (before it was a real move). Me and my sibling mostly got Pokemon cards as birthday and Christmas presents. We never battle with them though (since my sibling thought the rules were too complicated) and the only chance I play the game is online or on the GBC game.

I collected them when I was a kid. I sort of lost them somewhere? I had tons of them, not sure if I had expensive one though, they date from the first prints back then. Maybe when I empty my mom's house I'll end up finding them, could be nice I'd like to see them again.

Nope! Somehow Pokémon cards never really were a thing at my school. I knew they existed but I didn't really care for them. There were a couple kids around who did have Pokémon cards but they never played with them they just collected them. So i couldn't care for them. To be honest, I still don't. I like how the old cards look but that's about it.

I used to collect them quite a while back. I used to mainly buy the big tins. I literally have a whole cupboard in my room dedicated to my old Pokemon cards. I must have about 20 tins altogether.
I quite like the cards. I used to have little competitions with myself picking my most favourite, most strongest cards, (obviously must Luxray cards always won). If i remember they are hella expensive but for the entertainment that I got out of them it was worth it. With all my tins I keep the most valuable ones near the top so I could get to them easier, it was very fun. I kinda stopped at about the black and white 2 era because at that point I was just starting secondary school and there was a lot of peer pressure and things like that so I basically just stopped Pokemon altogether for a long while. (Luckily I'm back and enjoying myself). Since I've restarted Pokemon though I've not bothered with the card game though. I do feel that the card game was a thing of the past for me personally. I don't really see myself sitting with the cards playing like I used to.
As far as the actual card game was concerned I honestly had no idea how to play for a very long time. I never had anyone to trade cards with and play against so I never learned. I couldn't enter tournaments or anything like that either because I used to live in this really rural place in the hills and we had to drive thirty miles just to get to the supermarket.
However I did learn back when they were doing the black and white cards. I remember they had an online TGC game that you could download and with the card packs that you brought they would contain an AR code which you could scan into your computer via the webcam. That's when I learned because I couldn't play without learning the rules. If I remember correctly they done a really good tutorial which really helped me out.

I used to, but after a while, I realised they were more use to me being sold than to be sitting up in a display book. So, I sold most of my rares, and made $200 off of them. I never sold my rares that were worth the most, I' kinda attached to them. So, I still have my most precious rares in a book that I keep locked away.

I collect the cards, I was actually aiming to collect all the games but I only started doing the cards because I won a deck (containing 100 cards) in middle school for helping my teacher clean out his classroom.

So I now collect em all.

I use to collect them but I eventually got bored. The cards a cool looking but I never got the hype of them. Whenever I actually played the card game it got either confusing or just boring really.

No, I don't. I like their designs and all but it's just so much money and it's hard to keep up with, on top of that I don't really enjoy them other than their looks. They are cool don't get me wrong but I don't collect them.

I collected a lot of Pokemon cards and I think I have all the Pokemons except for some legandries and I have a few XY cards. I don't know how to play the game but I will learn to play it. My best Pokemon card is an Arceus with 210 HP. Their designs are really cool and I think if I sell them they would be sold for a high price.

Hah :p

The reason I laughed is that the amount for what they are available in my county is ridiculous. Though I have some small 2/3 size of an index finger size Pokemon cards (from the original 151). Not all but some..bought them for 25rs or 50 cents (Cad).

I also have some Kelloggs/ Pokemon company cards. Seems like there are like 30 something of them all mixed (gen1 to gen6). I have around 9 of those. Got it free with those honey loop cereals (had to buy a lot :p)

Can post pictures if somebody wants :)

I used to a few years back, but I don't really anymore. Every now and then, I will buy a pack or two, when I'm looking for something in particular. When I collect them, I'm only after the rare ones. I have a Shaymin EX full art card for example. I have some from the first movie, like Mewtwo, and the first Pikachu, and some of the rarer/harder to get energy cards, also some of the harder to find xy breakthrough cards.

Yes, same here :p i used to collect commercial ones myself, but in more recent times ive decided to make my own just for fun, that is just how i am, i like to be creative with my own ideas and so forth, that is the very trait of mine that has helped me teach myself various tricks on games and many other things. :p its not hard to make up your own cards or games if you're smart enough and know how to do it. ;D everyone's opinions and ideas for themselfs, but this is my way of doing things with stuff like this. ;D
