I know I always do this
I haven't ever had any problems with it because I update with the battery fully charged. I haven't even backed up my save data or anything. I hope nothing ever goes wrong, I don't think it will
By the way, I made that meme! Yes, I myself! I'm so proud of myself

I never do that either because my 3DS is usually has a good amount of battery before an update. I also don't like to use the charger whilst I'm using my 3DS. (call me weird)

Plug in the charger while the console is updating ? Too mainstream.
I always do it without the charger. And more, the updates are quite fast (~5 seconds max. here), so, I don't even get why the charger is even needed to update sometimes.

Nope. It's kind of stupid if you ask me. If the battery is fully charged why the heck would you need to plug in the AC Adapter for an update that is going to take 5 seconds?

I always update when my 3DS has plenty of battery, so I don't do it either. The most an update has taken for me was probably a minute at most, so there really wouldn't be a need for a charger unless your battery was at rock bottom, and you'd most likely have plugged the charger in by that point anyway.

I have never charged my 3DS when it was updating. My 3DS always has a good amount of battery when being updated. Also, why do we need to plug in the charger for an update, when it only lasts for like... 5 seconds long?

Five seconds? Third world countries need more time
In my case, Indonesia hehehe

I never plug in the charger while im updating. When my 3ds reaches the last bar, I save my game, power off and then put it on charging immediately. So, my battery usually isn't very low. Also, the update doesn't take much time. 15-20 seconds (25 maximum)

It's so rare that my 3DS battery reaches the red, I don't really bother with plugging it in for updates. Sometimes it's already plugged when I get the prompt for an update though. =P

Never plugged in the adaptor haha, I alwways download in sleep mode and downloading in sleep mode barely takes any battery. For updates their all finished in like a minute so what's the point

Nope nope nope. Well, I guess for 1 time. My 3ds XL was already plugged in. When I wanted to go to eShop but man, needs to update the system first before you can proceed to window shopping for price drops.

Never done this as well xD
I guess most people won't. The battery life for 3DS is amazing (at least for me).
Even my 10-years old original DS can be played for around 8 consecutive hours.

Never, unless it forces me to plug it in due to an almost dead battery. It's really annoying having to wait until it's at two bars to download something.

I haven't ever done that when the message shows up, because my battery is seldom low. I try my best to keep my 3DS batter at least at 70% or higher. The only time I did this was when I had battery issues with my PSP

I get why they tell you to put the charger on but I never do, I see message and I'm like nope! Mostly because my 3DS has enough life to make it through the update because of how fast it is.
Only time I use the charger is when it's dying or I'm downloading a game from the eshop.
I love your meme too! It's awesome!

when im not using my 3ds, I put it on charging. My battery is never low. I don't even bother putting my 3ds on charging while updating. I just ignore it like people ignore the terms and conditions of anything.

I never charge my nintendo 3ds xl until my nintendo says that battery is low or whatever but I don't risk it when there is any update or when I am downloading any game from eshop also when I was about to obtain any mystery gift in pokemon.
