I sometimes trade with random people.
But when I think, I will offer this pokemon for your pokemon, I press offer.
But sometimes the guy/girl I am trading with doesn't understand that and you can't do anything.

Say if this problem happened to you too.

Hence the reason why I don't trade with people who I can't type to directly (such as a forum like this that has a shoutbox or a Pokemon chatroom such as Pokemon Showdown). Turning the game off solves the problem, but waiting a minute or two will automatically cut you off I think although I'm not certain.
