Do you like Mario Kart DS?

Mario Kart DS is my favourite MK game for the DS. It is just amazing. What do you think? I have Mario Kart 8, but I find the DS one is better. Mario Kart 8 is more modern, but I like older better. What do you think of the game?
 
Mario Kart DS is the first game that brought me to like the Mario Kart series . It was pretty original for the DS and one of the best . I too like the old game because it is just cool . Mario kart 8 is modern yeah but its the original is the best . I also like the the Mario Kart 64 and the others but to me Mario Kart DS was the best:rolleyes:
 
I don't have Mario Kart 64, but I didn't get one when I was younger. I got a Nintendo DS first. I could get a download of the game on the eShop, but I find the game to be too old for some reason. I used to own MKDS, but I traded it in sadly. I do think MKDS is second best after MK8!
 
Yeah, I like, of course, but it's not my favorite... but, well, I like it pretty much! xD
 
It was pretty good but the sequels were better ! :D
 
Mario Kart DS will always have so many memories that are near and dear to me. At school, we would always have 8 player races or battles, and it would just be so fun. I also had built-in cheats so that I could have infinite bullet bill or first place no matter what..but that was only when I was feeling really competitive ;)

My opinion for the Mario Kart DS was that it was a decent Mario Kart game, but it lacked better graphics and needed to be extended in the options for your Kart, like in Mario Kart 7, which was my personal favorite. If I could choose between Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart Wii, in this case, I would choose Mario Kart Wii for it was also decent and had a wheel thing that could go on the Wii Remote so it is easier to steer.
 
I loved Mario kart ds. I had it when I was younger and always used to play it with my cousins. I never judged games when I was little, so I really didn't care. I kind of miss the replay function in the game though. (Replaying your whole race, right) but that game brings back many memories of fun, and that's all the matters, really :p

Isn't it the only MK game for the DS though? :p

I think it's great; it was one of the best DS games. It's the second or third best in the series for me.

I got this as a bundle game for the red annivarsay dsi xl in 2010, and I loved it! The only thing I don't like is how the game won't let you on certain WI-FI networks. This game lets you design you own emblems for the front of your car. The missions are very fun also because I havent played another mario kart with them. If you have a DS this is a must buy!!

Yeah it was one of the best DS games in many top lists . I liked to play this game with my friends at school but the only problem was that We only had one copy of the game so it was download play only XD . Even so we would play that for hours . This game really brings back memories when it was first released and how much I really really wanted this game cuz my friend told me

Yeah i like playing with my friends in school through down load play and play balloon battles and that star stealing the stars but most of all i enjoyed the using the items that came out of the box and the moment where everyone is trying to win.

Yes I played them all the DS being my fav! Love kicking my friends butt with red shells crossing that finishing line lol and last second avoiding her trap winning first is pure joy!! and thrill!! still play now local play she has the cart ^-^

I suck at all mm games really.

I only like to drive backwards in multiplayer with my relatives(cousins and siblings mainly) It's just really hard for me to steer even if I am driving backwards. I crash into stuff a lot. :p

i did like mario kart ds i played it all the time when me and my brother had a ds even though mario ds wasn't mine it was all fun until my brother andy lost it :(

I've played it, and I'd say it's pretty average. Graphics are good for a DS game. I prefer other MK titles (like MK7 which is 100x better). Nothing special really. Tracks/characters are OK.

I love maro kart ds. It is very very fun. There are lots of characters and lots of karts. You can also play with friends who have a ds too. There are also many items to use in the game. You can use the items to throw at other drivers and many other things.

Mario Cart DS is still my favorite as well. The newer versions disappointingly abandoned the missions, and even worse changed the battle versions to have timers and balloon battle is way less fun. I still play the ds version, maybe even more than the others.

Yeap! Mario Kart DS is one of the best for its simplicity and good amount of content. Its roads are pretty awesome, the characteres are nice and there are lots of karts you can play with! It was an amazing game to play with friends, I remember taking my DS to the school and playing with all my friends!
