Do you sometimes wish that there was still Wi-Fi for the DS ?

Yeah , I think it has been like 2 years from now I think on somewhere in April and May that they cancelled the Wi-Fi Connections for the DS system and various DS games .

Were you angry at this or did you find that it was ok ? Or do you still wish that this feature was still for the DS ?

I was really sad that this had to happen because I was buying a DS game for its wifi feature before they announced it and then a few days later , they announced that they would cancel the feature ....:meh:

Sometimes I wish that they never did that , or at least stated a reason for doing so because there were many cool DS games out there that I know people were still playing .

Any current thoughts now that it has been quite awhile since that happened ? :pompus:
 
All day, everyday buddy. :( I hate the fact that I can't play BW/BW2 online anymore.
 
I wish they never turned it off as well. There some really fun games like Pokemon that used online that I used to play all the time and then they cancel the online T_T.
 
Not on the DS actually because I ouldn't have a stable connection anyways
(My router didn't connect with NWFC :/)
But I do miss playing Brawl online, I mean, it's dirrefent from SSB4 and I got some friends that don't own it :(
 
Sometimes. I remember spending so many hours playing Call of Duty Black Ops multiplayer on my ds, and while I never did get that explosive crossbow, it would be nice to be able to go back and relive my nostalgia again....
 
Not really because I don't use my dsi anymore. I mostly use my 3ds. But wifi should be on dsi for people who still have a dsi. I didn't use the wifi that much expect on flip note. Sometimes I also used it for Pokemon. But when flip note got removed there was no point for me to even use the internet.
 
I don't really care for it, since I don't really have many older games that used to have online multiplayer. xD

Pokemon Black version is one, but I don't think I'm missing out on much. The newer versions (like OR/AS) can make up for it. xD

It's a shame the wi-fi was shutdown though. I think there are still other ways to get online. :sneaky:

I know right >.< I think that it was like a few months after when they released Pokemon Black and White version too and then soon they announced this ._. I was really lucky not to buy the game though :p But I really still liked battling random people on the interned XD

I don't really care for it, since I don't really have many older games that used to have online multiplayer. xD

Well your pretty lucky for that >.< At least you have some of the newer games to make up ;-; Sometimes I wish that the DS wifi could still work if you play it on the 3ds but sadly that didn't happen .-.
 
At first I was very sad that I never able to be online in pokemon black 2 but when pokemon x and y launched and when find out It have pss I was overjoy and no more sad

I wish they never turned off the Wi-Fi, I really liked playing Pokemon Diamond online with random people using my all FEAR team was amazing to play with :D also Black and White was pretty fun online

I did not really use the Wi-Fi so much, since I never set up a Connection With both my wii and my ds. You are saying that they did not tell us a reason for shutting the NWF Down, but there was one. It costs Money to have those servers up, and With the 3DS and Wii U having a New server, they did not really need the one for ds and wii.

Wi-Fi on the DS was so memorable to me, especially for Metroid Prime: Hunters and Mario Kart DS! Sometimes I think back to these games and wish that Wi-Fi for them was still around, mainly because of the great times I had playing them! So much nostalgia, lol.

Wi-fi on the DS was so good, i remember playing Mario Kart DS online for so many hours. I wish that online on ds came back, even if it was a 3DS exclusive using the nintendo network servers.

i wish online in brawl was back!!!fighting random people was fun!!!sadly i never got any brawl friend codes to get before the connection.but with how much people i have on my 3ds for smash 3ds it's crazY!!!

Yes! Because it disables WiFi for DS based games as well.

I do really miss the Wi-Fi services for the Nintendo DS. I can't play online Pokémon with my friend anymore and I used to use it for watching all the flipnotes in the flipnotes studios. I almost had 1000 flipnotes but sadly I never got there because they cut the Wi-Fi off before I had a chance to get any more.

I want the WiFi feature back on old DS games because multiplayer and stuff like that is usually the way that people buy a game (unless its really good or something) like with main Pokemon games, competitive is usually the sometimes the only reason people buy games. I don't play old DS games as much though, so this doesn't affect me as much :p
