might be the first generation where Red, Blue, and the original 8 Gym Leaders are absent?
Think about it...they didn't appear in X and Y, they didn't appear in Ruby and Sapphire so it's unlikely they'll appear in ORAS (unless they're some sort of post-game battle or DLC).
They might appear in Pokémon Z (or X2 and Y2, or whatever sort of third/fourth Kalos games they do) but for now he's MIA.
Not saying it's a bad thing, but what do you think?
