Do you think item overdose should have been a thing?

In real life, if you overdosed on drugs (legal, of course), it'd make you even more sick.

Do you think it should have been the same in the Pokemon games for consumable items such as potions? For example, you are unable to use the same potion until XX time has passed or there could be a penalty for using it if XX time has not passed.

I personally wouldn't mind it. It'd make the game more challenging <3
 
If it's a good item like a Revive there should be limits but items like Berry Juice or Full Heal where they're borderline useless shouldn't require any. In battle to make it more fair there should be a limit to 4 healing items just like the CPUs in battle but special items like Rotom Powers shouldn't require limits because they are difficult to get. I think this is just a waste of developers time unless there is a hardcore Pokemon gamer niche that needs attention and wants new mechanics but that's just me.
 
Nah, that’d just be overkill in my opinion. If you’ve got the item and need to use it, that’s fair game in my opinion. There shouldn’t be a max limit or a wear off time.
