Do you think Pokemon Will have Skyrim graphics?

I made this thread because I want to know if people prefer the old 8-bit versions, the new graphics in X and Y or if people prefer pokemon with skyrim graphics.
 
Chances are Pokémon might not get Skyrim quality graphics because of the limitations that Nintendo's handheld systems have with visual graphoc displays
 
Skyrim graphics aren't exactly necessary for a game like Pokemon, although that would be pretty cool. To be honest though, I prefered the older bit graphics for some reason; I guess it feels more traditional and true to the original game? I dunno, but the overworld changed too much to my liking and I really liked the blocky building designs of past generations.
 
I think that the graphics that changed in new Pokemon games like in Pokemon XY or Pokemon ORAS are really already nice to have compared to older games . Intense graphics would be very cool , but I don't think the 3ds can handle such things unless it were to be a really large game :p
 
That would be cool, not to mention catching dragon legendary Pokémon would make the trainer Dragonborn? :rotfl:....:giggle:....:blackeye:.

Anyway that would be cool, but I think Zelda would get that level first.

ummm Try playing competitively and you might age in an old man since you are so oblivious :oldman: It is a dowsie to learn EVs, IVs, good movesets and moves for Pokemon, Natures, items, and strategies but it trust me, it is really worth it in the end.

Skyrim graphics look bad (no offense) and even worse in Pokemon games >.<
 
I think this could happen, if Pokemon (like other popular franchises) goes down the MMO route. PokeMMO (and not the fan-made version) could be an extremely popular thing, that I think could work very well.
 
Maybe a spin-off game can be like that but not main story cuz main story are made on handhelds and handhelds may not e able to display it, especially not in near future. XY and ORAS are nice enough y u need better ones?

When you say skyrim graphics I think of nasty gore and blood and stuff. I do think in the near future it will have great graphics like the popular games on the wii U such as mk8. It would be great to have it now. But instead of focusing on graphics I want the game to be more fun while and after you finish the game. All I'm doing is breeding not much to do. Ideas? Racing... Idk

I highly doubt that Pokemon will have the same graphics as Skyrim. How is Nintendo going to render that on one of their systems, seriously?

I highly doubt it. Pokemon is from japan, and well, it is highly unlikely, considering 1. the unusual hair colours (except it's not that unusual in anime style things) 2. there is an anime, and the games are anime style. besides, skyrim is a bit more mature in terms of graphics, and pokemon's target audience is generally around 10 years old. and as everyone else is saying, the system probably wouldn't be able to render the graphics.

Yeah skyrim graphics wouldnt really work for a 10-year audience however if they ever make a more mature version of pokemon I think it would be interesting to see it skyrim style on a different console like the ps3 or xbox. I actually love Gen 4's stuff because I felt like it was simple but not too simple, or too advance like gen 5.
