Do you think there will be a remake of Pokemon Emerald?

I personally don't think there will be a Delta Emerald game. When they did remakes of Pokemon Red, Blue, and Green, they didn't do a remake of Pokemon Yellow. Also, when they did remakes of Gold and Silver, they didn't do a remake of Pokemon Crystal. I could be wrong, and an Emerald remake is in the works, but if it is, it might not be released any time soon.

I doubt they will make an Emerald remake to tell the truth. I mean, there's the Delta Episode where you obtain Rayquaza, so that's one reason why I can't see it happening. I'm pretty sure if a Pokemon game were to come on the 3DS it would be a new or a remake, I'm guessing Crystal to tell the truth.

No, I don`t think so. When the 2nd generation games were remade, they excluded crystal because of that the features crystal had that gold and silver didn`t, was in HeartGold and SoulSilver. I am pretty sure that the same thing will happen to these remakes, and possibly when (if) Diamond and Pearl gets a remake.

Game Freak has been creating these remakes since generation 3 (Or the GBA times if you prefer) and one common trait that they show is that they have never made the third title of the generation into a remake. If anything, like the above posters have said, they merge important plot points from the third title into their remakes. That's what the Delta Episode essentially is; the plot points of Emerald shaped and condensed into a post-game plot. Also Deoxys because why not?

Of course though, this being said they have broken their tradition of making a third title just recently with generation 5 so while it's unlikely at this point, we can't exactly rule out the possibility of an Emerald remake.

It's quite hardly that such a thing will happen because of the things that ORAS already covered . It would be really kinda cool but the chances are too low and I don't think that it might do well unless they had to think of different ideas . So a remake of D/P would be most likely to happen
