Do you think they should have kept pictochat on the 3ds?

I'm probably the only one who enjoyed this about the Nintendo DS but I think that it should have been added into the 3ds and maybe had a couple more features added like maybe an online chat feature with parental controls for the kids. I don't know. I just miss staying up late with my two other siblings drawing funny pictures and laughing are butts off. Tell me what you guys think.

That's what I missed too, I remember one time back with the DS Lite era me and my siblings went to regional Science Fair and since it was like a huge convention thousands of people were there and some even had DS. My siblings and I would picto chat with them and it was so much fun.

They should've at least given the newer models that feature since Swapnote is practically useless.

They could've added a save feature to Picto chat too that would've been cool so we can go back and see what we did.

Oddly enough, I was considering this early today. I miss PictoChat. Sure, I might have only used it with a close friend and my younger sibling, but it was such a great feature. Before cellphones and social media, that was how my sister and I would communicate during boring adult gatherings and long drives to and from places.

I think it would still have a following today. Perhaps an online feature in which messaging friends while on- or offline would have been a nice upgrade, along with the addition of multiple colours to use, more space to draw/write, and the ability to send pictures and sounds. I thought SwapNote would be its successor, but upon its debut, I realized the two of them shared only the basic concept of communication between systems.

PictoChat, come back – I miss you! :(

I miss pictochat from my Ds lite and Dsi respectfully. It was fun to doddle and send them locally to nearby friends... Good Old Days ;-; (Call me nostalgia)

I too miss the pictochat which was available on the Nintendo ds, life's and the Nintendo dsi... It was a lot of fun messaging things to my brother and keep on make doodles and do stuff... I wanted the pictochat to be on the Nintendo 3ds but unfortunately it isn't... They should make it available for on the eshop for free so that everyone can once more have the fun of making the doodles

I have to admit that picto chat was really fun to use with someone when your bored but it was that you had to be quite close for good connection. It should have come back to the 3ds to talk with your friends online and not swapnote

I think Pictochat now would have online capabilities, which would be a good and bad thing at the same time. It would give people a way to draw and chat with each other in realtime (does Flipnote not do this?), but when you think about how many young people have a 3DS and stuff now, and then you think about all of the trolls that would be on it, it doesn't seem like such a good idea.

But, there are going to be those types of people everywhere, and since smaller children already have their own laptops/phones/other ways to access the internet, I imagine it wouldn't be so bad.

So, yeah, why not? #BringPictochatBack2015

I love pictochat. I remember using the little Japanese characters as smileys. I remember sending drawings to one another. Good times.

When my cousins and I were young, we always had to go to parties and stuff Because my mom would always invite relatives. Pictochat was that one thing that we had fun with when all else went wrong.

Also, it was fun using them as a secret way of talking, until connection was interrupted. I miss the feature of text with drawing. It was a good little feature and i miss it. Although, it wouldn't be useful for me now, I still think bringing it back would be a nice idea.

Removing Swapnote spotpass was a stupid move too, ._. But, eh nintendo has their reasons.

I'd love a merge between pictochat and what they had going with the Letters. When the 3DS came out I felt the letterbox was a step backwards. Pictochat was so fun to make your stop animation doodles. It was too bad you couldn't really save any conversation. I have good memories. Once you are in local with other people it becomes pretty fun.

When I lost one of my DS lites, I became upset cuz it had ACWW inside and cuz I couldn't do any more pictochatting. Whem my 3ds was about to arrive, I was happy that pictochat would be back again. I got SO upset when I found out that it didn't :(
