do you think trolling will not be allowed once super mario maker 2 is released?

ok, so we've already known that troll levels are all over super expert in mario maker for a long time, but now that super mario maker 2 is coming out, will this finally be forbidden and get people banned if they keep it up? for me i would say probably not only because a large part of the mario maker community's level creators make troll maps, from more mild ones that i can personally tolerate and beat with enough luck, to horrible, outrageous troll levels that are not only filled with traps and bait, but also very long/ large stage that inevitably gets only a few clears and thousands of fails overall. if they decided to make a no trolling rule it would fill nintendo's hands with a large mass of users to purge for uploading levels like this since this is more than likely going to be a thing in mario maker 2 either way, and its easier for nintendo to ignore it than to erase numerous accounts that upload troll maps (sucks yes but its true unfortunately). tbh id rather do troll levels than kaizo because kaizo is just practically impossible and id waste an entire day on just one of those monsters, troll levels you know you can eventually get through without being stuck with a garbage shell/ spring jump at the beginning (we've all seen this...). so what do you think, do you think there wont be a rule against trolling or this will be a change in the community rules once we get mario maker 2? one reason i think its a possibility is because there are complaints all over the internet about mario maker's troll problem notably on expert difficulty or higher (but super expert gets the worst ones by far), and i know nintendo would want to do something for the sake of developer integrity. of course this would make the trolls mad, but this game really needs the balance on hard modes that the original mario maker lacked in my opinion, so it wouldnt be bad at all when you look at it that way.

It's not trolling it's creative design. You don't have to finish a level if you don't want to. Sure you could make a level with 100 doors in it and only one leads to another series of doors where you only can win/beat the level if you survive making it impossible unless you took way too much time playing it. That's how I see it. It's not like a game you can speedrun seriously even though it does time you or go into multiplayer and play with many people like NSMBW.

well in my opinion it was creative design until hundreds to thousands of people started doing the same thing, then it just became very run of the mill overall. tbh though the very idea that you can just put a mushroom in an underpass with a star or other powerup and place hidden blocks so the player gets stuck is kinda obvious, i dont see how even younger players wouldnt realize you can do these things and other similar cheap and/ or unfair ways to kill the player. dont get me wrong, i have seen some creative troll levels where less common idea were implemented and that was interesting in all honesty, but most apply the most common and overused troll tactics so this is hard to come by

I don't think that the troll levels can be avoidable. The way Mario Maker works simply doesn't allow it. The initial creators who make good levels will rank at the top and crowd out others who make good levels, while poor ones will almost constantly be posted in the "new" section.

There also needs to be a rating system, where people rate the quality of a stage. That way I'm not playing some horrible stages consistently. On the Wii u, even for top makers, there would be terrible levels so a rating system (based on difficulty, overall likeability, and uniqueness) would do wonders for filtering out bad levels. Sure, it's gonna hurt for some people but it'll improve the experience a lot.

As it is, the first SMM made sure you couldn't publish a level unless you as the creator could run through it as a rough method to avoid cheating, this means that at least for a while, most of the levels were either hard but doable or had a hidden way to finish it without the hassle that the creators used to their advantage.

As someone mentioned above, a lot of these levels are looked after, this is why they become so common.

I think it would be smarter to separate the landscape so people can rate/mark the level of expertise of the levels, so people know if they are mild or insane before actually jumping in.
