Do you think watch dogs was overhyped?

I'm asking your opinion not the publics opinion. I was on the hype train with everyone else when they showed the first trailer of the game. And yes I did get it a week after release, and it was overhyped in my opinion.

There was a huge open world which I loved, but not enough to do. I loved the convoy missions, but to get more you either have to beat a main mission or do another boring side mission. Not to mention some very difficult and sometimes repetitive story missions.

The hacking was great but you couldn't control the city you could control small things to hurt others and those specific hacks got old and repetitive in my opinion.

But the games story(which I never finished) was great and the characters,digital trips, driving, and other things keep you entertained. For that reason I'm actually going to try to pick this up for wii u since I never finished it. What are your opinions on the game, did you live up to the hype or do you think you were gyped out of your money?

The game was over-hyped, agree. It was really badly optimized for the PC too and don't get me started on how <censored> it looked on this gen (PS3 and Xbox360). The hacking in my opinion wasn't that great like they showed and told. I think this was a great title for Wii U to be started with but as I have not played the Wii U version, I don't really know how well optimized it is on that console.

my friend has it on ps4 and he still enjoys playing it, but probably won't play much after he finished the story.

Yeah, I think it was. Everybody was so excited for watch doges to come out. When people got it, that was not what they were expecting. I heard people saying that the game was horrible. I have seen people play it and it looks like a pretty decent game to get and play. I really want watch dogs.
