Do you think you can stay awake if Jigglypuff sang to you?

This question reminds me of an old japanese tale:
Anyway, the point is it'd be possible to keep yourself awake, with extreme measures probably being the highest chance of success. I personally wouldn't want to try sticking myself with a knife to keep awake through Jigglypuff's song, but I would certainly give it my best. I think I could last longer, and I'm sure with enough repeated exposure to the song I would know what to expect and be better mentally equipped to fight it.
The setup of this tale was that there was a prince of the land who had been cursed by some cat beast, and as a result one night the cat beast found it's way to the prince's mistress and killed her. It then assumed her form and proceeded to drain the life blood out of the prince every night while he sleeped, the prince being none the wiser. As the prince's condition worsened and physicians couldn't figure out what the cause was, unaware of what the cat beast was doing. The only real notable thing was that the prince was assaulted nightly with nightmares and bad dreams.
Realising this, the councillors decided to post 100 guards outside of the prince's room to watch over him. This however proved fruitless because for some mysterious reason, the guards would all be caught with sudden drowsiness at 10 PM and fall asleep shortly after, where upon the mistress would sneak into the prince's chambers and harass/suck his life blood out.
Eventually one guard, noticing that their normal attempts at keeping each other were failing, attempted an extreme measure to keep awake; he kneeled down and used his knife to stab his own thigh. The initial pain kept him awake and whenever he felt drowsy he twisted the knife inside the wound to keep himself up. Consequentally, when the mistress tried getting into the prince's chambers she was surprised that one of the guards hadn't fallen asleep and found herself talking to the guard so as not to come off as suspicious. Shocked that her spell didn't work on the guard, she decided to keep away for this night.
However, each night thereafter it soon became apparent that the guard was not going to fall asleep, so the mistress was kept at bay and eventually gave up after a few more days of trying. The prince's health returned and the guards found they were no longer falling asleep. This strange coincidence in conjunction with the mistress trying to get into the prince's chambers during this made the guards realise she was the cause of his illness, and so they executed the cat beast.

Well, let's admit it, i am a normaly sleepy person, and if jiggly puff can literally make the all mighty god of creation Archeus fall asleep than do i really think i will be any better? I mean, sure if i had my earbuds, ipod, and "carry on my wayward son" blasting at maximum volume, than sure, but if it was just me staring at jigglypuff and him/her singing than yeah i would 100%f all asleep... and wake up with marker on my face in a hospital 3 days later. Really, i once slept for 36 hours during the summer, i went to bed sunday, slept through monday, and woke up tuesday morning.
It may work in the anime, it may work in all the Smash Bros. games but it'll never work on me 
Only if I was already half-asleep... then.

In super smash bros, Good old jigglypuff constantly uses sing, than hits you extremely hard. On me, (Im normally link) It can almost never hit me with sing, im just moving to fast all over the place. If Jigglypuff tried that on me, i would just give it a good double wack with my sword and be done with a lot of trouble. If i WERE to get hit with sing, i wouldn't stand a chance.

Ur seriously that bad? Lol sounds like some1 i know. He once went to sleep at 7:30pm and did not wake up until 7:30 pm the next night

On Smash bros i usually play as Metaknight. All of my family hates me cause I have gotten really good at his down special. so ill run towards them then teleport behind them and they are all like fufufufufuf stuop etttt. but yea jigglypuff is extremely annoying with that. remember in brawl way back on the gamecube when it was an actual fight ughhhhhh i hated him so much.
