SSB for Wii U Do You Use amiibo To Grind Gear/Moves/etc.?

Pretty basic question, do you use your amiibo to grind custom moves and gear? I did when I first got my amiibo but I haven't since.

For those wondering how to do this, just go to 8 player Smash, add all your amiibo to it, and set it as a 99 stock game. It should take about an hour and a half for them to finish and once it's over you'll get lots of presents ^_^ Obviously the more amiibo you have the more useful it'll be.

I never got amiibo, so I always just went through smash run like 6 times in a day. My highscore's now like 92 thousand something. That seems like a good idea though, like go do homework while it's playing....Also, it can go up to 99 stock? I had no idea...
