Ok I just hate the events where you have to go to gamestop and get a code in order to get the pokemon. I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but I don't live near a gamestop and I know for a fact that my parents hate to drive to a far away place for a very small reason. That is exactly why I hate these events, plus I am just really socially awkward so when I go to a store I sometimes feel really nervous asking an employee for something, I don' t know if anyone else has this same problem. I would love to get event pokemon but I think it would just be easier for everybody if pokemon where distributed online instead of through gamestop stores. Thank you for reading my weird and stupid rant. So what do you guys think about these events?

I feel the same way, though for me I live around the corner from a gamestop like ten minutes away from it. But when I comes to Pokémon my parents always say "Don't you have enough Pokémon?" So asking them to take me to an event for a special Pokémon would mostly be the equivalent to being disrespectful to them.

But having them given away online or have a coded emailed would be a lot easier for us. Though for me I too get nervous asking for something too and I usually end up using a voice of one of my favorite characters from a show :bag:

Lol. I just get it after school as the gamestop is right next to the school. :) But i wonder why they just don't do wifi distributions. I can't be asked to do it as i have to go in, wait in a queue and ask at the counter. I know that they can't leave it in front of the counter as they have to activate it.:rage: Also the events at gamestop have random natures and iv's. Stupid!

That's my thoughts anyway.

Btw

I hate it too, and now that I'm older, I'm like okay can't be that bad I have friends who actually can cover for me but what happens? Our gamestop 10 min away shuts down because no freakin one was coming and they ran outta business. (It made me soooo sad I got so many games from that one). So the next gamestop is like 30 min away and in a mall lol.

I just found out today that there is a dragonite giveaway and of course you have to go to gamestop. :( Kind of depresses me that I have to miss out 0n it.

I don't like that the codes are at Gamestop, which are annoying because the nearest one is 20 min or 10 mins away. I odn't actually need the Pokemon, but if I did it would suck :(

I used to be socially awkward but I learned to be not so shy and I talk to strangers more, so it would be no problem to talk the the employee. I guess that is kinda of your fault so you have to just deal with it :p

They should disturbute it at Gamestop, because online is much easier yes, but then you get it for free, and making people goto Gamestop is a gimmick to make people buy more.

I hate this thing. Why we always get event pokemon for those stupid codes ?why it can't be wifi distribution i really hate this whole process !! And their also some place where gamestop store are not able so it became so hard to get a pokemon

I'm not that bothered when that happens, but I don't even live near a Gamestop either. The closest one is about 30 minutes, but I have to take the bus to get there. Besides, my family likes to go shopping on weekends so I got used to traveling to far away places. And we don't have a car. What annoys me is that my friend begs me to get a code for him, so I have to go to 2 different Gamestops just to get another code. Luckily, there is a Gamestop close to the one I usually go to.

It is kinda the same for me but I just find it awkard to ask the Gamestop person. Maybe it is because I am a really shy person and to ask for a pokemon code is really weird .-. And people just stare at you like What are you even doing here.-. /shivers/

Yeah , to to think that there isn't even a Gamestop where I am xD I hate when you can only get these special event Pokemon through ways like this , it's really sad for those who can't really enjoy the fullest of the game , I'm pretty shy when it comes to that situation as well :rotfl:

That awkward moment when you don't even have GameStop in your whole country.
Been there.

I'm not that bothered by it since I have a car and my mom (who is usually the one I have to talk to when I want to go do things) is pretty okay with it. I also live right by a GameStop, so I could just walk there if I really wanted to. That said, I don't really like it much because I can see how it'd frustrate people. I actually waited till the last minute to get one of the codes, I think the shiny Gengar? Never got one and was kinda bummed out about it because I like shinies. Someone else on a chat I go to though got a few extra codes though and gave me one, so that was pretty cool. I didn't miss one after that and usually ended up getting a few extra, haha.

I'm pretty awkward too, but I usually just go in, walk up to the counter (waiting in line if I have to, of course), and when it's my turn, I'm just like "do you guys have any of the Pokemon codes?" and then they give it to me. xD Sometimes they usually just know, and that's cool too. "Are you here for a Pokemon code?" "Yeah." "Okay, here you go." I don't even really buy anything, haha. (I think I did preorder stuff though once. Maybe ORAS? I don't remember.)

It would be nice if they did online code distribution or wifi distribution though. That's more easily accessible to people than the codes.

I'm bothered ony when the employees insist that I must pre-order something to get the code. This was really prominent back when ORAS were being released. It was extremely annoying. I just wanted my Diance!! (I ended up preordering both games and buying a 2ds because of my brother wanting one though.)

I hate that too >.< And I'm pretty shy myself so I get where you're coming from. I think it would be better to just do wifi distributions of events so that most people will have equal opportunities to get events. It sucks that events are so 'valuable' because only a few people actually recieve them. If we can't get wifi distribution then the least game freak can do is make more stores able to distribute codes or something. .~.
