Does anyone wonder what the check Peach does? I mean being captured at least she should TRY to escape not let poor Mario go through many worlds.

Well, you can not blame her for certain circumstances. First of all, it is unexpected. In ordinary galaxy, you may have noticed the fact that the castle was lifted and their was no turning back. Also, she is weak at times so she gets kidnapped easier. It all comes to perspective.

Still..who gets captured that much? Plus, she got powers I mean she could knock out bowser with a frying pan and she could escape

Well this is the natural tradition of a Super Mario Game basically and just as AwesomeGuy said , Peach is probably weak and all . I wouldn't think that Peach will have any frying pans now
But if talking Smash then , well , different story :0
