Hey, can y'all help me? Does creating a new nintendo network ID erase all dowloaded data? Basically, are downloaded games and stuff (mii plaza, whatever) linked to the device or the ID? If the stuff is erased, can one get it back via "Redownloadable content"? like I used a Legend of Zelda code from Club Nintendo, etc.

If you delete your Nintendo Network ID from your 3DS/Wii U, ALL of your content that has been downloaded will disappear. There is no way to retrieve it after that, as you give up your account. EG: You have downloaded a game from the eShop, and you decide to delete your NNID. Then, that game disappears, and you CANNOT redownload it.
I deleted my previous NNID and created a new one, and I lost everything I had. (Luckily only demos).

well, is your Nintendo Network ID visible to your "friends"?

Deleting your NNID will make all your downloaded content (whether you got it via Club Nintendo or not) dissapear like smoke :( so I strongly (VERY strongly) recommend u not to dlete your NNID.

You can not get it back via any redownloadable content.

(one question- y did u want to delete your NNID anyway?)
