The reason of that thread is : when I am online and i use a red shell and that hits the other player , the other player doesn't stop ..... bad connection or cheats?

I'm pretty sure it's just lag. Nintendo is pretty enforcing of the no cheats policy...

Lol that happened to me once. I was pretty mad afterwards, because I could have won, but I am pretty sure that it is either lag or some kind of glitch. As Raptor said, Nintendo is enforcing the no cheat policy. And I am pretty sure that if it was a cheat, it couldnt have been used online. Prolly just a glitch or lag.

I would say that it was maybe your connection of the game or that person's connection to the game that causes such things to happen . It may be a cheat but apparently Nintendo does ban people who do that so yeah they might not even be able to connect anymore . Surely it was some sort of glitch , unless Nintendo hasn't banned him .)_.)

While it's currently possible to 'jailbreak' your Wii U, you can't do much with it, and I'm pretty sure there aren't any cheats for MK8. Latency issues on Nintendo servers are very common, especially if you are playing with international players. Though it can become hard to find players if you do, I tend to keep it country-wide only.

I don't think cheats exist on Mario Kart 8. I had the same situation a lot of times but I searched about cheats in Mario Kart 8 and I didn't find anything about cheats in Mario Kart 8. Maybe you hitted him but like your connection was bad and slow it looks like you didn't hit him or maybe he used any item to escape from your red shell, it happens a lot when a shell hit a rock or something like that, it's really boring

Trust me when I say it is just lag. This happens to me pretty much nonstop on Mario Kart 7. I know this is lag because my internet connection completely sucks as I live in the middle of nowhere and get like .8 MBPS. It is possible to use "Action Replay Power Saves" To hack your 3DS, and it is also currently possible to "JailBreak" your Wii U, but playing online is pretty much impossible with hacks as Nintendo takes their "No Hacks" Policy very seriously. So, in all, It's just lag. Don't worry about it.

Either you have bad connection or the other player has bad connection. But a good cheat to use in mario kart 8 is when its starting. When it counts down the numbers, and when its almost done with 2 start driving and then you will get an awesome speed boost.

I am pretty sure mario kart 8 cheats do not exist, but mario kart 7 can be action replayed hacked. Be warned about this product some people buy to get advantages in mario kart 7: http://www.amazon.com/Datel-Action-Replay-System-3DS-Nintendo/dp/B005NJVQ60 If you don't have mario kart 7 then you are completly fine :3

I guess there is a laggy connection either coming from you or the other player. It seems to happen sometimes, especially in most online games. I guess that the player will be confused that they were hit out od nowhere, since on your screen the player may either be disconnected or laggy.

It would be impossible to cheat in MK8 because if there were nintendo would immediately partch the glitch the same way they did with homebrew exploits. Plus how could a person hack the game to cheat in online races. I think the reason why the racer was uneffected by your red shell was either lag because I have seen online nintendo games lag before like splatoon, triforce heroes, and smash. So don't worry it's just lag.
