So I have a spanish project where i decided to present Yoshis island, and i am using visual boy advance so that i can have full screen. The problem is that i am using windows 10, and my teacher is using a mac (like the old ones most schools have). I just realized today, after having set up the ini file and directories, when i brought a flash drive to school and plugged it in to just realize that its a mac and exe files dont work on mac.

So I am assuming that just replacing vba.exe with vba.dmg (mac version) will allow everything to work out because i already have the ini file (and the rom and save and everything).

So i would like to ask any pc/mac owners to see if either they use the same ini format or just see if replacing vba.exe with vba.dmg will work.

I think so, but I thnk it would be best if you had a fresh install on the mac, then load the rom and .sav file.

Yeah probably, i just wanted to have the controls already set and the rom directories so i dont have to go looking through the teacher's mac. If ini doesn't work then i'll have to do a clean install anyways
