Ive noticed ever since i started playing SSB43DS my battery life drains faster while playing it.

Also, this could be possible considering it takes so much power to run, which is why miiverse cant be opened.

However, it could be my battery life could be like this from the start and only noticed it now.

Have you noticed this?

What do you think?

Answer below!

yes i think so and it takes SOOOOOO long to shut down!

Didn't really noticed it, unless I toggle the 3D on (full). But just like @epicpants said, it takes really a while to start another game/close the game... Maybe because the game really consume the whole CPU.

I never noticed. Maybe it does though now that I think about it. I do however agree completely with @epicpants . The game takes way to long to close and exit. Literally, it shuts down and then turns on your system again! But hopefully this is just a simple-fix problem though that Nintendo might fix with a patch in the future.

This might be why the 3ds is coming out, it said it could run more game with a better powering system

I haven't noticed this seeing as i play my games with the charger plugged in, but I did notice the lag in turning off, and on. Really can't wait for the new 3ds because I'm sitting rioght here with the first 3ds that ever came out, and it has no stencil -.-

It doesn't affect the battery life, I think, but after opening the game it takes a long time to start, go to the home menu and open another game etc. It scared me at first but it seems to affect everyone here. My 3DS's battery still lasts a good 3 - 3.5 hours when it's been Smashified (on maximum brightness).

It feels like it drains faster, at least.

It depends on how you're playing.
how much light do your screen have, do you use your 3D very often, normal og XL 3DS and if your battery save mode is on.

Hope this helps ;) bye

Battery life seems normal to me. I dont use the 3d effect that much so i enjoy playing games even longer. The game is too great that i dont have the time to monitor if this game drain my battery faster or not, haha.

I think this theory is correct. The title is generally a 'big' game which possibly uses more energy and memory. I find it does drain faster from my experience. Means less game-time, though. :/

The only problem I've noticed with the game is the terribly long time it takes to open and exit it compared to most - no, every other game I have. The battery life drains normally when I play it, though I bought my 3DS XL a few months ago so that might be the reason why.
