Doraemon Story of Seasons will be localized!

Recently it has been confirmed that Doraemon Story of Seasons will be localized in English! Previously introduced in Japan's Nintendo Direct last February, it's set to be launched overseas this autumn.

In this game, Noby (also known as Nobita in Japanese) would do some work like planting and harvesting crops among others, just like what you expect in Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons. As time goes on, you'll get access to Doraemon's secret gadgets to help.

Before watching the trailer:

Ok, I don't know much about Story of Seasons, but I do know a bit about Doraemon. but I just have to say... WTF?! This is what they give us? I mean come on! We already have Stardew Valley! How does a cat like alien go farming? I think this is just a way to milk the series(s) to cash out on their popularity. I feel like this is just going to be a plain farming game.

Well, Harvest Moon has always felt like an anime, so with Rune Factory and all these crossovers, I think it's great to see familiar faces in the Story of Seasons franchise!

I’ve actually never played any games in this series, ngl. But, it looks an awful lot like Stardew Valley, don’tcha think? I mean, basically, it looks like your average farming simulator, but I bet there’s much more to it than that, considering how much some people love this series.

I might try it, but probably not for a while. I’m still saving my money for games that I know will be a hit (like Animal Crossing Switch).
