With a lot of GBA/UCL style leagues popping up, I was wondering what you guys think of the format and if any of you would be interested in maybe playing in one.

Personally, I think it's pretty cool. I find the counter-teaming aspect to be fun and I like being able to use Pokes that would otherwise be useless in OU and be able to have them take on certain OU mons on their own.

I hadn't even heard of those until I saw this thread! Anyway, while they do seem interesting and original, I'm more of an Anything Goes (but without using any Ubers and above myself) or Battle Season type! Still, I may try one of those sometime and perhaps they may be really fun!

Check out the GBA (Global Battle Association) videos if you haven't already, it's probably the most popular one and it has some big names as far as Poketubers go. And they have a dedicated YouTube channel, unlike the UCL.

IMO, I like the UCL system more than the GBA system, and the UCL system is way more simple to understand (I still don't get how the picking Pokémon works in the GBA, and not being good at english doesn't help :p)

Anyways, if you guys are doing something like this count with me!!

I like the GBA system more cause it gives more freedom, although that may be cause I understand it :p
