Dragon Fight Salamence vs Dragonite

So in opinion who is better to you.Salamence or Dragonite,they are both dual type pokemon and has the typing Dragon/flying.For me it was dragonite in some games but as I began to know about pokemon more and started to play more games salamence became the choice for me.He can mega-evolve,has a good moveset and has out-of-this-world STATS!

while that's true, aestetically, id prefer dragonite, I like his evolutions as well. thought if this is about battling I would indeed have to go with Salemance, dragonites affiliation with electric moves wouldn't help either, despite being cool, but at the end of theday, I just love anything with a megaform!

Right now, Dragonite beats Salamence if used properly, any day. Dragonite with Multiscale WILL OHKO Salamence after a single dragon dance. Combine that with weakness policy and Outrage with 120 BP + STAB +Buff, there is absolutely no way Salamence will live for another turn.

i would have to say salamence because he actually has a mega evolution and his stats are incredible, the first time i played with the mega salamence i actually took out some guys level 78 mega metagross in a battle. also salamence has more protectionfrom moves than dragonite if you think about it because dragonite is like a patrat compared to salamence in size.

Dragonite can destroy Salamence, if it is used properly. It is quite bulky with its amazing Multiscale ability and its defensives. It also deals immense damage with its high offensive power. Dragonite is pretty powerful overall, and I do believe it could beat Salamence in a battle (IMO).

Does Salamence need his Mega in order to beat a regular Dragonite? It really depends on how each Pokemon are used.

Dragonite+Multiscale ability, really is no contest, it'll rip Salamence to shreds with that Multiscale ability in tact or a Weakness Policy even if Salamence is faster than it

Dragonscale + Multiscale is OP. Salamence wouldn't stand a chance. Plus in general, Dragonite is a more versatile, arguably more powerful pokemon than Salamence. Also Dragonite is of the original Red and Blue, instantly making it more awesome than the relatively new Salamence.

Dragonite is better all around. Especially if given Roost, TW, or you could go the offensive route and win because of Multiscale and potential stat boosts. Not sure how the mega in play is going to have an answer to that though.
